The School

FIRST APPEARANCE:

August 31, 1974

Every year Sally dreads the end of summer and the start of another school year. She often voices her frustrations to the School itself, and the building is always ready to offer a sympathetic ear—or brick, as the case may be. The School is a philosophical building, and it often reflects on how its life might have been different if it had been an airline terminal or a disco.
