Mr. Sack

a boy in a yellow shirt with a black zig zag wearing a brown bag over his head

FIRST APPEARANCE:

June 16, 1973

After waking up with a baseball-shaped rash on his head, Charlie Brown had no choice but to wear a bag on his head at summer camp. Once at camp, the others kids took to calling Charlie Brown “Mr. Sack.” Unlike Charlie Brown, Mr. Sack became well-liked and respected. Campers looked to him for advice and actually enjoyed spending time with him. Mr. Sack became so popular he was elected camp president. When Charlie Brown finally felt well enough to remove the sack from his head and reveal who was underneath, the other campers immediately regretted casting their vote for their new president.
